Data Testing and Maintenance

The Data Testing and Maintenance feature in ChartAlert serves two purposes. Firstly, it helps in testing data files to identify any error conditions. Secondly, it aids in maintaining the data folder by removing unnecessary files or reports. To prevent costly errors, it is recommended to regularly run the Data Testing and Maintenance process.

This feature tests for various error conditions related to security attributes. It provides information such as the data subfolder being tested, the number of files in a subfolder, the data file being tested, and the total number of errors found (if any). Once the testing process is complete, it displays the Data Testing Report and saves the Test Log file in the “C:\ChartAlertData\TestLogs” directory.
