Synchronize X-axis of Multiple Charts

This post is about the slideshows related to synchronizing the X-axis of multiple charts so that they can be scrolled or zoomed-in or zoomed-out in sync to facilitate analysis in ChartAlert

The Sync X-axis feature allows you to analyze multiple instances of the same chart, or several charts that are simultaneously open, by sync’ing their X-axis.

  • Synchronize the x-axis – time-scale – of multiple charts to enable synchronized left-and-right scrolling of the chart
  • Synchronized charts can be scrolled via Tile Vertical and Tile Horizontal windows options

Open Multiple Instances of the Same Chart/ Symbol

This post is about the slideshows related to opening and working with multiple instances of the same chart for a variety of analysis – multi-timeframe/ multi-indicators/ etc – in ChartAlert

Open multiple instances of the same chart for a variety of ways of analyzing that same chart.

The following is possible . . .

  • Create and view (simultaneously) the same symbol – say, ACC – with different templates — say, Moving Averages, Technical Analysis Studies, etc — plotted on multiple instances of the same symbol
  • Tile multiple charts of the same symbol vertically or horizontally for analysis
  • Synchronize x-axis of multiple charts for left-and-right scrolling
  • Save multiple charts to a single Workspace

AutoScroll Groups of Charts

This post is about the slideshows and demo videos of the AutoScroll feature in ChartAlert that lets you scroll hands-free with a timer through a MyFav/WatchList or a group of charts

This feature allows an end-user to auto-scroll through a MyFav WatchList or any group of charts. The highlights of this feature are . . .

  • Hands-free feature
  • AutoScroll forward or backward through a group of charts
  • AutoScroll based on a timer set by the end-user

QuickBrowse; Highs & Lows

This post is about the slideshows related to the QuickBrowse feature that lets you quickly browse through a no. of Indicators, and the High/Low feature that plots the All-time/52-week Highs and Lows on the chart

The QuickBrowse feature allows an end-user to quickly browse through all available indicators in ChartAlert for a particular symbol by simply using the up and down arrows on the keyboard.

The Highs & Lows feature, with 1-click/toggle, allows an end-user to plot 52-Week Highs and Lows and All-time Highs and Lows on the chart.

Relative Performance Charts

This post is about the slideshows or demo video related to the Relative Performance feature in ChartAlert that lets you plot the performance of a symbol against an index, sector, or any other group of symbols

The Relative Performance feature can plot up to 30 symbols including the base symbol to analyze the price performance of all of those symbols over a given period of time.

The price performance of the symbols is then expressed in terms of percentage change from a common date of origin.

Monthly Trading Ranges

This post is about the slideshows and demo videos related to the MTR feature in ChartAlert that plots/ projects the probable trading channel and the range of the next month on the last Thursday of every month

The MTR feature resets on the F&O settlement day (last Thursday of a calendar month) and plots the following for the next 1-month calendar period . . .

  • A Price Channel
  • Multiple Pivot Supports
  • Multiple Pivot Resistances

This feature is not restricted to the F&O portfolio of symbols alone . . . It is available for all stocks listed on the stock exchanges.
